You
can't bandage a hurt feeling
A bandage will generally do the trick when you get
a cut or a scrape. But when you're trying to deal with anger, depression,
abuse, or sexual trauma, you need more than a quick fix. You need
help from people who care. People who know how to get to the root
of your problem. And people who can help you find a workable solution.
You
can trust our Experience for positive results
I am Dr. Beth Shapiro of Gateways Counseling, P.C. I and my therapeutic
staff are trained specialists with

over 90 combined years of real-world counseling experience. I and
the experienced staff provide support for your feelings and help
you find solutions to your emotional problems and difficulties.
And our philosophy? Helping you help yourselfhelping you lead
a positive, healthy life by feeling good about yourself. Perhaps
you've been noticing some changes happening inside of you. You get
angry about minor things. You feel down and depressed. Or you may
feel inadequate and vulnerable. Maybe you find yourself overreacting
or even under-reacting to difficult situations. These symptoms are
your warning signs that something is wrong.
We help you look beyond your symptoms so you can discover what the
real issues are. And more importantly, begin to work towards solving
them.
You get the support you need
Gateways Counseling knows what you're going through. We help many
people just like you, so we know how to give you the proper care
you need. Maybe one of these problems seems familiar to you. Maybe
not, but either way, we encourage you to speak with one of our specialists.
Most likely, we can help with whatever emotional or relationship
problem that is bothering you.
You can change the way you feel
That's why we're always here and ready to help. Because we see people
just like you overcoming these types of difficulties every day.
Difficulties that were keeping them from achieving the personal
success they wanted.
Simply put, we see people change and get on with their lives. And
we're confident that you can, too. The first step is to call and
schedule a one-to -one consultation with one of our caring specialists.
Then we can work together to design a treatment plan that's right
for you. And you can rest assured that we don't offer the same generic
treatments to everyone who walks through our door. All of our treatment
plans are as unique as the individuals they're designed to help.
And, you can even call and have a free 15-minute consultation
with one of the Gateways Counseling, P.C. therapists.

You
get the right therapy for you
You'll
have the benefit of several different types of therapy at Gateways
Counseling. Of course, we have traditional therapy involving you
and a specialist. But we also offer group counseling, couples counseling,
and family therapy. In group, couples, and family counseling, not
only do you get the benefit of a skilled therapist, but you also
get support and insight from others. We use a variety of therapeutic
techniques to unmask the traumas and issues that may be affecting
your life. Once uncovered, we can show you how to gain the upper
hand over these issues and finally put a stop to the pain that they
cause.
