| Roy Alexander, M.Ed., LMFT, has been working with families, couples, children and adults, and interfacing with other therapeutic team members in the community, for thirty-five years. His areas of specialization include family dynamics, parent-child relationships, trauma issues, child behavior problems, depression issues, anxiety and stress issues, medically induced trauma, and life transition issues. He also conducts the anger management program, batterer's intervention program (S.A.V.E.) and parenting classes at Gateways Counseling, PC. In addition, he has experience working with addictions issues. |

| Bret Hendricks, Ed.D., LPC, has more than seventeen years of experience providing counseling to children, adolescents, adults and families in private practice settings, children's group homes, education cooperatives and Mental Health Mental Retardation settings. He specializes in working with adolescents, men's issues, individual and family trauma situations, substance abuse and addictions issues, and criminal justice populations. His vast experience allows him to treat a broad range of emotional issues including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, family dynamics, child behavior problems, and relationship issues. |

| Beth Shapiro, Ph.D. (Gateways Proprietor) is a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress, a Diplomate and Board Certified Forensic Examiner, and a Certified Criminal Justice Specialist. In addition, she also is a Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider and a Doctoral Level Addictions Counselor.
Dr. Shapiro directs Gateways Counseling, and works with adult, teenage and child clients in individual, group, couples and family therapy. She specializes in dealing with trauma issues, including physical, emotional and sexual abuse, and works with both victims and perpetrators. In addition, Dr. Shapiro deals with depression, grief and loss issues, adjustment disorders, personality disorders, family and relationship problems, medically induced trauma, psychosexual disorders and addiction-based emotional disorders. |

| Sarah Torres, M.S., LPC-S, NCC, RPT, specializes in working with children, adults, adolescents, couples, families and groups on abuse issues, depression, anxiety, relationship problems and parenting issues. She is a bilingual therapist who can provide counseling and assessments in English and Spanish. She is strongly team oriented and works collaboratively with staff therapists, social services agencies, and law enforcement investigators dealing with child abuse and neglect issues. Sarah also offers the PREPARE/ENRICH computerized couples' assessment program for use in marriage counseling, pre-marriage counseling, and couples' counseling |
